Sending large files and digital photos to Purebred Pigeon We use MediaMax (www.mediamax.com) for uploading digital photos. It is a very simple 3 step process. Nothing is loaded on to your computer - no personal information is taken from it. Please read over the following and then go to the Upload Site at MediaMax. On the Streamload first page -- note the icon of files with a green arrow (lower left of page) "Upload files to any MediaMax user here". Click on that icon. A page will appear with a grey box similar to the one below. In the Username section, type in "purebredpigeon" (one word and don't type the quotation marks).
Then click GO! A page will appear with another grey box. Make sure you are in "Single Files" mode by clicking on [Single Files] on the left of the panel.
Click the first of the Browse buttons. This will open file folders on your computer. Select the file(s) that you want to send to us.
Click the Upload button at the bottom A status window appears that states your upload speed and estimated time left. (Upload times are usually much less than this indicator says!)
(If you want to cancel the upload, simply click the STOP button on your browser's toolbar at the top of your screen.) That's it. You've uploaded your files. You can work on other tasks on your computer while the upload is taking place. Working on other items on the internet may slow your upload. Large photo files can take up to an hour to upload depending on your modem and your internet service provider. Important Last step: Email staff@purebredpigeon.com to tell us that you have uploaded your images and the file names. Thanks! |
