We do not bill for advertising. All ads must be paid at the time of insertion.
How to Send your Advertising:
If you prefer, just send your photos and the ad text and we will design an ad for you - please let us know colors you prefer for the background and/or text.

**Technical Requirements (if you don't know what any of this means – don't worry -- We will work with you to get the ad you want!)
You may send a camera ready hard copy at 300 dpi on photo quality paper -- not plain copy paper. If you wish to send your camera-ready ad (with images embedded) on a disk, we accept the following file types at 300 dpi:
TIF (preferred)
Adobe .pdf
Adobe Illustrator .ai
Photoshop.pds
All files and all images in the file must be 300 dpi.
Our page format is a true 8.5 x 11 inches. Bleeds (color or image goes off the edge of the page) available on full page ads only at 8.75 x 11.25
We can not accept Word or Publisher files for finished advertising. Please contact us about these formats. We do accept Word files for articles but please don't insert photos into the files - send them separately.
PHOTOS - Please do not crop your photos. Send photos at their original resolution/size.
If you are sending Digital Photos, please shoot your photos at the largest resolution or size that your camera will allow. Please go to our Digital page for more on this topic and instructions on sending us your files.
$25 charge per photo to remove or extract bird from background - if possible. Photo must be high quality in sharp focus. Contact us.
We can not accept photos taken from websites -- they will not work in magazine quality printing.
